It's April 2006
April's fool has passed. No. I don't feel like a fool but 1st of April will always be in my mind. It is the date where I joined the working class or rather slaves. It has been awhile since my last blog. I have also been checking my fellow bloggers. One has dissapeared. While two others are pretty busy with their life.
It's also already the middle of the month. My career progress has somewhat stalled. At the same time, I am trying to settle my new home. Yea..at last. Got myself a new home. On one hand, I feel poor after calculating all the expenditure that I will be incurring for the coming months to settle the home ownership. On the other hand, it's my new home. So it feels great. I may have to be on the road again due to work commitments. Still, I am making no headway in my career search. So the mood is kinda down and feeling tired. I did meet up with one of my buddies during my one-day break. That really felt great.
This reminds me. A search consultant asked me if I were excited about an opportunity with an established firm. Being me, I answered frankly. No. A big NO and I told her the only reason why I am willing to try if given the chance is because of the possible career progression. I guess I blew the chance but I really couldn't let go this chance to let the world know what I really thought.
Hahaha... of course. No news about that opportunity until today.
Dang...back to the grinding stone.
