The worst World Cup?

No. It's not the worst worst world cup 2006 but rather my worst World Cup so far. WHy? I've not seen any of the matches live. I usually make it a point to sleep early and wake up early to watch the matches. WHy not you ask? Cos of work. I've been busy and tired. So freakin tired actually. Until I need to get that 8 hours of golden sleep. Just had a conference call with personnels from another office just now. 11pm. Aiya..this is not life man. No. And never.

I thought well, at least I would make it a point to watch the finals. Now that my project has been delayed by 1 week, that means I will be on the plane flying while the rest of the world is watching the World Cup finals. How freaking sad can this be???

Arrgh!!!

I've also not blogged for sometime now. Haha..what an entry. Certainly have to make it a point of write more. But i've been reading Leannes-say. Certainly some points to ponder over there.

Cheers.

Home is where the heart is.

I seldom think about home when I am away due to an assignment. I take it as part of the job. Just need to get the work done and get myself back home. Simple as that.

Somehow things aren't that easy now. I do think about home. I guess when times are difficult, one would think about things that are comforting. For me, home is comforting. Come to think about it, I am a homely person. Meaning, I prefer to stay at home most of the time. And do what you ask? I dunno. Clean the house, tidy the place. Or just laze and rest while watching tv.

Even when I was younger a bit (a very little bit), I still prefer to stay at home. I only go out for sports. Or when I need to buy some stuff, I just go out. Seldom do I go out for no reason. Unless my buddy, Rene calls me up and says let's go loiter everywhere. And I mean everywhere.

Maybe age is catching up. And I miss home. Especially my small hometown, Ipoh. Small city actually, though I don't think Ipoh actually falls into the city category at all. I long to return to my hometown. Far away from all the pollution in the city. Far away from all the hustle and bustle in the city. Just peace and quiet.

Home is where the heart is.

The World Cup is coming. Yay!!!

Happy Birthday to me

It's my birthday. For the 2nd consecutive year, I am celebrating my birthday away from my family and my loved ones.

Still, I am grateful to have come this far in life. Just that I am stuck here in Jamaica. Come to think of it...I might miss the World Cup if I am still stuck in this place.

Dang...
I really miss home now.
